The Open Training College’s 18th Annual Conferring of Awards Ceremony took place on Saturday, November 19th at the RDS in Ballsbridge, Dublin. Over 150 students graduated with a variety of HETAC Awards in Applied Social Studies and Applied Management. A great day was shared by all.  Congratulations to all our graduates!

The recipient of the Student of the Year Award for 2010-2011 was Pauline McAvinue of Gheel Autism Services and a graduate of the BA in Applied Social Studies.

The four speakers at the ceremony were Dr. Ian McKenna, Higher Education and Training Awards  Council, David Kenefick, Deputy CEO, St. Michael’s House, Naoya Hyodo, Graduate of the BA (Honours) in Applied Social Studies, and Karen Finnerty, College Director.
