2010 Conferring
These pages highlight some great photographs marking the 17th annual Conferring of Awards ceremony for the Open Training College which took place on November 27th 2010 at the RDS, Dublin. It was the largest College ceremony to date with over 150 students graduating with a variety of HETAC awards in Applied Social Studies and Applied Management. People shared in a great day despite the awful weather conditions experienced on the morning of the event. Congratulations to all the graduates (to those that made it on the day and to those that were unfortunate to miss it due to travel difficulties outside of their control!)
The recipient of the Student of the Year Award for 2009-2010 was Seamus O’Leary of the Integration Centre and a graduate of the Higher Certificate in Applied Management.
The four speakers at the ceremony were Andrew Bridgett, Higher Education and Training Awards Council, David Kenefick, Deputy CEO, St. Michael’s House, Joseph McDonald, a graduate of the Bachelor of Arts in Applied Management and Karen Finnerty, College Director.
Here is a selection of photos from the joyful day. (Click on each photo to view an enlarged image)
