Understanding and Managing Conflict in the Workplace
Aim
This three-day workshop will help firstline and mid-level managers to deal with conflict in the workplace. The content is based upon real life experiences of issues and concerns expressed by managers. It is designed and lead by accredited Organisation and Workplace Mediators.

This 3-day workshop is designed specifically for managers who are at the front edge of workplace conflict.
What you’ll learn
Organisation and Workplace Mediators, exploring skills of Mediation and Conflict Resolution in order to:
- Understand conflict in the workplace
- Be able to identify the early emergent stages of conflict
- Know the difference between positive and negative conflict
- Heighten the awareness of stress and its implications
- Define appropriate behaviour and dignity in the workplace
- Define and understand bullying, what it is and is not
- Define and understand harassment and sexual harassment
- Explore legal, emotional and cultural issues
