Aimed at senior personnel working in residential units such as Service Managers and Heads of Units, this workshop focuses on the additional responsibilities for this group such as decision-making, implementation and inspection recommendations. A thorough understanding of the HIQA Standards will benefit  participants of this course.

• HIQA as a positive ongoing quality assurance tool
• Criteria: Indicative not prescriptive
• Additional organisational commitments (Fit Person Entry programme, Action Plans, Registration, Breaches of the Act)
