By law, quality assurance processes must form an integral part of the work of Irish Higher Education organisations. [Universities Act 1997, Qualification (Education and Training) Act 1999 ]

The Open Training College’s quality assurance procedures are approved by the Higher Education and Training Awards Council of Ireland (HETAC) and the Further Education and Training Awards Council (FETAC).

Our quality assurance policies and procedures ensure all the Open Training College’s activities are completed to a quality standard within the context of the College’s ethos, mission, guiding principles and pedagogical practice.
