Assessment varies from course to course and from year to year, however, the College strives to achieve a balance between practical assignments and written examinations.

Assessment in all our programmes is largely completed by applied practical assignment and written examinations are kept to a minimum.

Assessment is conducted for each module using HETAC's (or the FETAC equivalent) Accumulation of Credits and Certification of Subjects (ACCS) system.

This allows the student to retain the credits they have gained for each successfully completed module, should their studies be interrupted for some reason (e.g. ill-health, family or personal matters, etc.).
